Hello everyone! I know it has not been that long since you heard from me, so I will keep this week's email brief. Sunday was my birthday and thank you to all who wished me a happy birthday, It was weird to wake up and do another normal missionary day on my birthday, but it was awesome! Our friends Shannon and Lia came to church yesterday and they both enjoyed it a lot, Shannon is progressing super well and loving the book of mormon.     One thing that I would like to share some experiences about this week is tender mercies, I cannot remember a time when I have seen so many tender mercies in my life than right now. Its in the small things, and is just a reminder that our heavenly father is in the small details and cares so much for us, example, On Christmas, I was really missing the snow, then elder Christensen got a box of fake snow in his christmas package. I was also really missing Christmas martinellis, and then at dinner our appointment had a bottle. Then on Saturday night...

Hello everyone! I know some of you were probably expecting this email on Monday, but our president just moved our P-day from Monday to today! It has been a crazy week and a half, but also a very fun week and a half. Last Tuesday I met my new companion elder Christensen! He is an absolute stud from Katy Texas! Yeehaw. It's been lots of fun to get to make new friends in my district and get to know a new companion.      On Sunday the Adame family came back from Texas and we had a lesson with them about eternal families, it went super well and the spirit was really strong!     We had a lesson with Lia along with brother Moody who used to be Catholic like Lia is now. That went super well and we are going to be answering some questions of hers next time we meet.      The real exciting news of the week is we started teaching a new person! Her name is Shannon and she is super cool, she was raised Catholic but just does not feel like it is right anymore. S...

Hey Squad! It has been another long week here in beautiful Camarillo! It has been a week full of appointments and cancellations, repeated multiple times. The few lessons we did have went really well, We taught our friend Lia the gospel this week and it went really well! She is steadily progressing and she said she is open to the idea of baptism! So that was super awesome! Also the Adame family is coming back to California this week! So we hope to get back to teaching them.  The big news of this week was when we got our transfer calls! Luckily I am staying in the Santa Rosa ward! Sadly however I will be getting a new companion, who will also be district leader! So that should be fun! So I will be saying a sort of goodbye to Elder Landeen, he will still be in my district, so we will still see each other on occasion!     As I stated earlier this week was a long one, and I did not realize why it had been so hard until now, looking back I realize that this week was hard becaus...

Hello everybody! It has been another good week here in Camarillo! I know some of you probably got excited about the title, it wasn't our baptism but we did get to go and help with one, so that was really awesome! I ended up conducting music with about a 2 second notice but it went decently well! It was really interesting because we had to do the baptism in a pool due to covid, so we just help a baptismal meeting in a members backyard. But the spirit was still there, just goes to show you can feel the spirit wherever you are.     Besides that the week was pretty mundane, it mostly consisted of appointments cancelling and people getting covid. Twice this week our appointments got canceled due to Covid, but the work moves forward.     We got to watch the first presidency temple devotional and it was super powerful, if you haven't watched it yet I highly recommend it. Christmas is the best. Its weird to think Christmas without snow but I guess I have to get used to it. ...
