#83 xǐlǐ (Baptism)

Hello everybody! It has been another good week here in Camarillo! I know some of you probably got excited about the title, it wasn't our baptism but we did get to go and help with one, so that was really awesome! I ended up conducting music with about a 2 second notice but it went decently well! It was really interesting because we had to do the baptism in a pool due to covid, so we just help a baptismal meeting in a members backyard. But the spirit was still there, just goes to show you can feel the spirit wherever you are.

Besides that the week was pretty mundane, it mostly consisted of appointments cancelling and people getting covid. Twice this week our appointments got canceled due to Covid, but the work moves forward.

We got to watch the first presidency temple devotional and it was super powerful, if you haven't watched it yet I highly recommend it. Christmas is the best. Its weird to think Christmas without snow but I guess I have to get used to it.

I came to realize something this week and I will share the story first, Last week I was just having a really hard day and was feeling pretty down, we came to a stop light that also had a train crossing, we had never really seen the train cross and as we pulled up to the crossing I thought to myself "it would be cool to see a train today, that would make me happy" as soon as I finished that thought the crossing arms came down and the train flew by, it was small, but it made me remember that God is there for us and he is aware of our personal individual scenarios. He loves and cares for each of us.

Funny story for the week, this thursday we agreed to walk some dogs for our neighbour! He is super nice and we hope to start teaching him soon, anyway, we walk into his apartment and the dogs just freaked out, so that was fun
