Hello everyone! Its has been a good week here in Camarillo that has been filled with service, lots and lots of service, we have moved a lot of boxes and random pipes and bags of sand this week, which has been awesome. In other wonderful news we started teaching a new person this week! We started teaching a guy named Allen, who is the husband of a less active member. He is super cool and has a lot of great questions about the Book of Mormon. We are super excited for him. This week we were also able to meet with brother Adame and discuss his relationship with Maria (who we are teaching). He confided to us about how he is holding off on marriage until they are in a more solid life scenario, so we discussed the blessings and help him understand some things. Hopefully things will start moving with them soon.     Now I will explain the title of this weeks email. Throughout the week we have been listening to some talks, and this week we learned about Crabs and Fleas. The speaker, Hyr...

Hey everyone! Things here in Camarillo are about the same as always, quiet, lazy, and perfect. Perfect weather wise that is. Anyway it has been a pretty average week full of finding, meetings, and service. Lots and lots of service this week. In other news the Adame's came to church this Sunday which was awesome! Even though they were traveling they still made it! So we aer super excited for them and are planning on addressing the marriage issue this week and hopefully that goes over well.     This week we had a phenomenal service opportunity where the 4 of us showed up to this house and fit everything inside it into a U-Haul, It was super fun and I learned something that I would like to share with you all this week.     As I sat in this U-Haul organizing boxes I was surprised by the amount of clutter and just random stuff this lady had in her house. Most of it could be thrown away and purchased elsewhere, and some of it didn't need to be owned in the first place, and...

Hello everyone! It has been a crazy week here in California, full of ups and downs, so let me give you all some of the highlights. An Elder in our district got word this week that he is headed back to Brazil (so is my old comp, E. Christensen). The mission also told all reassigned missionaries to make sure their vaccines are up to date, so things are heating up. In other news our friend Shannon dropped us pretty hard this week, but some people are just not ready for the doctrine. It just gives us more time to focus on the Adame's.      One thing that I have learned the hard way out here is to accept God's timing, Which has been hard to accept but we all have to learn how to eventually. I have had to learn to accept that Shannons time is not now, and that she is just not prepared at this time. I also had to learn a similar lesson back when our friend Lia dropped us, the point of the story is that sometimes people are just not ready to change and accept the truth.  ...

Hello everyone! Another great week here in Camarillo! We had a pretty big rainstorm roll through which has been keeping things pretty quiet, but it's a nice change up from perfect weather all the time. This week was super awesome as we had transfers and I got my new companion E. Moore, he is from american fork Utah and also served in Brazil before coming here (I don't know why they keep sending me these Portugese guys when I speak Chinese) anyway. Super awesome week and as I said in the title we had a total miracle.    So we were walking through these outlets and it was pretty quiet, we had come to the end of the stores and keep walking, even though no one was really down that way, we keep walking and we hear from one of the stores "It has been a while since I have seen the elders!" We turned around and met Johnathan, who was super nice and we started talking with him, a few minutes in he told us he needed us to pray for him, apparently he is going through some tough ...
