#82 Zhuǎn, Chànggē (Transfers and singing)

Hey Squad! It has been another long week here in beautiful Camarillo! It has been a week full of appointments and cancellations, repeated multiple times. The few lessons we did have went really well, We taught our friend Lia the gospel this week and it went really well! She is steadily progressing and she said she is open to the idea of baptism! So that was super awesome! Also the Adame family is coming back to California this week! So we hope to get back to teaching them.  The big news of this week was when we got our transfer calls! Luckily I am staying in the Santa Rosa ward! Sadly however I will be getting a new companion, who will also be district leader! So that should be fun! So I will be saying a sort of goodbye to Elder Landeen, he will still be in my district, so we will still see each other on occasion!

As I stated earlier this week was a long one, and I did not realize why it had been so hard until now, looking back I realize that this week was hard because we only gave a 70% week. I definitely saw that now, and it led me to something I wish to describe to you all today.

Always give 100%, wherever you are. Because there are few scenarios that last forever. So wherever you are and whatever you are doing, give it 100%. We cannot qualify for miracles if we are only giving 70%. There is a quote that I really like that makes this point more clear "What we do in time echoes in eternity" This quote has really stuck with me this week and I intend to make it more of a priority this week. So whenever you feel like you're done, or just cant do it anymore, keep working and the miracles will come. Think to yourself, "if my song is echoed for eternity, what do I want my song to be?" The notes of that eternal song are written in every day of our lives. It would be a shame to have wrong notes.

Here is a funny story for the week! So on Tuesday morning it was really cold and windy, so we said, "Hey let's go play basketball at the church!" so we made the drive over to the building and then realized we forgot the key! So we jogged around the parking lot in the blustery wind, good times!
