#2 嬌慈悲 (Tender mercies)

Hello everyone I will just get right to it.

This week was super awesome, we had exchanges with our district leader Elder Wilbur and his companion Elder Macurdy. We had so much fun and I learned a lot from those two great missionaries. I have served around them both before so it was a lot of fun to reunite and share memories again. It was a tender mercy.

Another tender mercy came this week when I had the opportunity to go with the other 11 missionaries who are finishing their missions to the Los Angeles temple! As I went through the temple I was reminded of God's infinite love for all of his children. I also gained a sense of peace and satisfaction, and I came to know that the Lord was happy with my service and my accomplishments as a missionary.

The greatest of the Tender mercies this week came on Wednesday. But before I get to far into what happened you need some background.

When I was serving in the Las Posas ward in Camarillo me and my companion Elder Jenson were teaching a girl named Jordan, now due to some family issues we were only ever able to talk with Jordan over the phone. We taught her the first three lessons and got her on track to a baptismal date when I was transferred out of the area. The only reason I know what Jordan looks like is because we are friends on Facebook. I never thought I would see Jordan face to face.

As I was sitting at the institute class in Moorpark I took a look around the class and who should I see but Jordan, sitting in the back of the institute class. After the class was over she ran over and asked me if I remembered her, of course I did. We talked for a few minutes, and we're able to laugh over our phone call lessons. It was truly a tender mercy from the Lord. I couldn't have planned that if I wanted to. Only God could have aligned things so perfectly so as to have me meet her.

Those little miracles are out there everyone. Go hunt them down. God has put them everywhere if only we will have the eyes to see them.
