#26 一個模糊 yīgè móhu (a blur)

Hey everyone, as you may be able to tell from my title this week, it's been a bit crazy. Honestly I don't remember too much of my week but let me give you some of the things I DO remember. 

1st. Despite it being over zoom we had an awesome Zone Conference this week, I love President and Sister Carter so so much and they always know how to inspire the missionaries and help them receive revelation. We had a pretty awesome zoom set up featuring a large TV and some nice chairs haha

2nd. The Boyce kids, so the Boyce kids have been doing well and something amazing happened this week. Last lesson we had invited them to pray to know if Joseph Smith was a prophet. When we asked them how it went all three of them described a feeling of peace, and comfort then they felt. Now I may just be an old forgetful missionary, but as far as I can remember that was the first time I have had someone outright say they felt the spirit. It was incredible. I realized that the work I get to participate in really isn't mine. It is God's. That is the only way something like that could ever happen.

3rd. Street contacting, I found a very interesting thing this week as we went out street contacting. As we were heading into our area to start contacting my desire to talk to people was very very low. Which was odd I usually can just force myself to do it. But this time was much harder than normal. So I did something I had never really thought of before, I decided to Peay for the desire to Street contact. It didn't come all at once but as we kept walking and talking I found myself loving it. Even though no one was really super interested, I was still able to have joy in the work. This kind of leads into my thought for today

God is there to help us all the time, not just when we are desperate, and not just when we can't go further. He is always there to help out, even with the small things. So if all you want is the desire to do better, or the desire to become more. To quote Alma "Let that desire work in you" and pray for help to keep going.

Anyway, that's just a thought for you all. It's crazy to think how fast my mission is going. Thank you all for the prayers and support
