#36 在住的家裡 (In the house of the lord)

Hey All! As you can probably guess from the title of this email I was finally able to go to the temple again after over a year. It felt like so long ago and it was wonderful to be back. I will talk a lot about that later on in this email. 

Along with the temple trip it has been a very very busy week. We had MLC this Tuesday which was fantastic! Me and Elder Nickle were assigned to give a discussion and it went fairly well! We then had to plan out How we were going to elaborate and share MLC with our missionaries and that meeting went great! So between those three meetings and the temple trip we have had virtually no time to do normal missionary things. But we have made it work nonetheless. 

Now to talk about the temple, I had lots of thoughts as I was going through. Going through with 2 zones made for a lot of missionaries and it was awesome to be there with so many of my old friends. As I was in the temple however I was pondering deeply as one does in the temple, and came to a conclusion that hit me deeper than ever before. The simple realization was this:

God. Loves. Us.

It's that simple. No exceptions, no clauses, and no restrictions. I soon realized that all we have and do as members of the church is to strengthen our relationship with our father in heaven who loves us more than we know. It is all so we can further access that love. Covenants bind us in place much like an anchor and hold us locked in that love. I encourage you all to keep your covenants so you can further access God's love and stay spiritually conditioned. I plead with you all to get to the temple. It is the only place we can make promises that transcend death. That is the greatest blessing I can ever imagine. 

Funny story for the week: We were in our CDC this week and it turned out I had an extra 5 minutes to discuss more than I thought I had, luckily I had a can of Red Bull prior to my discussion, so with Red Bull induced revelation I was able to make it all work in the end. RedBull induces revelation, by my experience.
