#66 聖靈 Shènglíng (The Holy Ghost)

Hey squadron its Elder Larson again with another good old weekly email. It has been a crazy busy week here in Camarillo. Easter, conference, and exchanges all make for exciting times. This week I have had some pretty amazing experiences with the Holy Ghost and I would like to share some insights and thoughts from them.

 

 

The first experience is from Tuesday on my exchange with Elder Macurdy, we were walking down the streets and were super hyped up because we had just gotten two phone numbers as we continued walking we saw this guy in his Garage and waved hello and kept walking, we got about three feet away from the garage when our steps got really heavy and we both felt like we needed to turn around. We went and talked to him and met him. His name was Nelson, he was super open and gave us his phone number. He has been responding super well and we hope to start teaching him soon.

 

 

The second experience happened when we taught our friend Jordan on Friday night, afterwards we extended our first Baptismal invitation and she accepted!!!! We are super excited for her and we now just need a solid date. The spirit was so powerful and we are so excited for her.

 

 

Both of these experiences involved the Spirit, the spirit is what led us in both scenarios and we are seeing miracles as we strive to follow it.

 

 

In other exciting news we are signed up to get our first dose of the covid vaccine on Friday!!!! Taiwan is one step closer!

 

 

Funny story, General Conference in the field is the best, there were wonderful talks and lots of junk food, but most importantly I was so able to focus, which was a first for me, I was comparable to a laser beam haha.
