#84 Gǎn'ēn Jié (Thanksgiving)

Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!  Its pretty weird to think I only have one more Thanksgiving before I will be back home! Its been a pretty awesome week here though. We met a new family last night and they seem to have potential! We were going to have an awesome lesson with the Adame family and talk about Marriage, but sister Adames mom passed away which meant they went back to texas for an unknown amount of time. So that was kind of tough but oh well. I also had the opportunity to speak in a sacrament meeting yesterday which went super well! It was kind of weird to be speaking to an empty chapel and an Iphone but people really liked it!

Thanksgiving was great and we ate with Bishop Whetten and his family and they were very nice! I have never eaten more food in my life, wowza.

As many of you know, we had the opportunity to listen to and participate in president Nelson's message of hope and healing, as I have gotten the opportunity to express my gratitude. I have truly seen it bless my life. And I came to a realization, There will always be things to complain about, and things to get us down, and things that hurt us. But if we choose to focus on the blessings we have, we will be happier people. I can promise that.

One funny story of the week, we had dinner on Saturday night with a family named the Wutkee family, dinner was pretty normal and we just talked and got to know them, after dinner though their son Lincoln pulled out bolt cutters and washers and started making literal ninja stars, me and elder Landeen just started busting up, so we went in the back yard and practiced our ninja skills haha
